How I Created 7 Social Media Posts, Edited Them, Scheduled Them, and Wrote This Blog in Under 1 Hour
Jul 14, 2024
Ever wondered why you’re not reaching your goals? The truth is, you might be the only thing standing in your way. With just an hour on a Sunday, I was able to edit, schedule content for the week, and write this blog post. There is virtually no reason you cannot find time to do this. It just takes a little planning. Here's how I achieve so much with so little effort.
1. Thinking Ahead
I started by thinking ahead. Throughout the week, I blocked out some time to write scripts and record content. Breaking it down into measurable, bite-sized pieces made it manageable. Instead of doing everything at once, I spread out the tasks over the week, making it less overwhelming and more efficient.
2. Strategy
Each week, I develop a theme that provides value to my clients. This strategic approach is crucial for social media success. Random posting won’t drive growth. A cohesive strategy will. This week's theme centered around reminding business owners of quick ideas for engaging with their audience online, such as writing blogs and replying to comments.
3. Keep It Simple
Not everything has to be long and detailed. Sometimes, the content just needs to add value. It doesn’t have to have crazy edits, incredible transitions, or the best music. The key is to focus on the value you’re providing. Simple, valuable content can be just as effective as highly produced material.
4. Speeding Up the Process
To make the process faster, I use ChatGPT to help write content. This way, I don’t spend too long thinking about what to write. Remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to add value. Leveraging tools like ChatGPT allows me to focus on the core message rather than getting bogged down in the details.
5. Scheduling with Buffer
Buffer is my go-to tool for scheduling content across all platforms. I schedule out content for a week to two weeks in advance, which frees up my time to focus on larger projects. This ensures that my social media presence remains consistent without requiring daily attention.
